Congregation Albert Rabbinic Search Committee Welcome to the Congregation Albert Rabbinic Search Committee Home Page. We developed this web site to keep you aware of our progress as we search for a new rabbi. The site will publish a summary of activities and will include an archive of additional materials for your review. We are honored and humbled to take on this sacred task of reviewing candidates and recommending a new rabbi for Congregation Albert. Short biographies of our committee members are listed on the Committee page. The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page provides a thorough overview of the search process. Please note that the schedule for our work over the next six months is tentative. We hope to finish and have a final recommendation to the Board by December, but that depends on many unpredictable things, including coordinating schedules over the next few months. June / July Update The committee has been busy this summer since posting our application in May. We launched this web site, created evaluation criteria for reviewing candidates’ resumes and personal statements, and developed questions for candidate phone interviews. Many candidates from around the country have submitted their resumes to our committee and we are in the process of reviewing them.
